![]() Hi Everyone,
I see that the false rail at Flemington today is out a whopping 15 metres for the entire circuit!!! Best of luck to anyone brave enough to bet there. The Flemington track surface, even when the rail is in its true position, could best be described as unpredictable, but when the rail moves out this far ...... well, it completely changes the racing dynamic. A huge doubt must exist as to where the bias will be. If you are considering risking your hard-earned at today's meeting there, may I suggest the following guidelines: (1) Look for horses equipped with power steering. (2) Look for jockeys who are blessed with telescopic vision, or who have won a Nobel Prize for physics, or who work part-time as a land surveyor. (3) Look for opportunities where the betting is still open on races that have already been run and won. (4) LOOK FOR ANOTHER VENUE FOR YOUR PUNTING DOLLAR!!! Seriously, folks, proceed with caution when looking for a wager there. And treat the form from today's meeting at Flemington with some suspicion when analysing future form. Often the results don't hold up elsewhere. If you absolutely must have a bet at Flemington, at least moderate the size of the investment (raffle ticket!) Oh ......... and heaps of luck! Cheers, OneBet |
