![]() Is it worthy of looking to trainers to follow as a system and only punting their horses when they're better than $4.00. I think PPM had a feature on trainers, but I didn't get the mag. I'd be interested to hear of any other punters who follow a stable and how they go.
I'd be concentrating on trainers who have served their time under the Master Trainers. I am going to stick a couple of Leon Corsten horses in my stable this spring and given them 5 runs. I bought a database, and it's great. I've said it before and I'll say it again through my experience with this database "There's a fine line between winning and losing ..... getting the good POT is the easy part". I'm more cautious than ever now, and convinced that simply following a few good horses might be the go for me. My criteria will be along the lines of either a lightly raced horse, one given time to mature, a well bred horse (I like Fastnet Rock) and maybe pick up one from S.A. or N.Z. coming over to Melbourne for a hit or two. Anyone got any comments on following trainers ?????? |
