Does anyone have an opinion on the fiasco that occured with Sarah Michelle at Caulfield on the weekend. I think it is ridiculous the owners don't get a penny in prizemoney (third place was worth 4500) because there horse was denied a fair start. Plus all the punters who may have had place or trifecta bets. It should have been possible to scratch the horse from the win pool payback all the win bets and reduce the winners price whilst still keeping the horse in the place and trifecta betting pools. It seems unjust for a horse to run that well and the owners not to get a cent for a mistake by the raceclub.

Cheers ED
