I know I'm probably preaching to the converted here, but if you don't already have a black book with one of the websites that provide it such as aapracingandsports.com.au then it really is a good idea. The convenience of having an email reminder of horses you wish to follow is invaluable. It's all too easy to forget which horses you think have a chance and why you think they have a chance. For instance I had 10 horses black booked for yesterday and wouldn't have remembered any of them without the email. As it was 4 of them came first, 2 came second, 1 came third,1 came 6th and 1 came 7th. The other was scratched. And to let you know how important it is to keep notes on the horses, the one that came 7th is the one I didn't bet on because of notes I had written about her form and to only bet on her if she was going around in a lower class (she wasn't). Good luck to everyone.
