RULING EYES ran sixth behind Ocean Tide yesterday at Caulfield.
Prior to that its form was pretty good. A second to Belle Princess (subsequent 3rd in Flemington Saturday class) followed by a win over Repeat Performance (subsequent winner at Sandown).
Yesterday's track bias favouring on pace runners didn't suit Ruling Eyes but that only means that its next start in similar class should see it at value odds, particularly if the media potted summary says something like "form says no" or "fair effort last couple but place best".
