Are there any other admirers of this well credentialled 3YO filly who are a bit non-plussed in respect of her performances this campaign?
While her runs have been reasonable she has failed to reach the performance level that her admirers had hoped for . Yesterday, she was in a prominent position during the early part of the run but once the pressure was applied she was found wanting and dropped out to finish with the tailenders.
Maybe she hasn't come up this preparation and consideration should be given to turning her out to recuperate and grow. Maybe there is some deep seated muscle tissue injury which has not been diagnosed yet. Probably more to the point is the fact that she is now opposing the very elite in every race in which she runs and is finding it hard to match the likes of Fashions Afield, Mnemosyne, Media and a whole host of others.
Anyone else have any theories or stable gossip about problems in respect of this filly which may not have been reported in the media?
