Rule 1: Operate only on non-handicap races.
Rule 2: Consider horses who have finished first, second or third last time out, provided that race is in the current racing season.
Rule 3: Must be a distance winner.
Rule 4: Racing within 30 days (inclusive).
Rule 5: Of the remaining horses, the selection is the first horse quoted at 2/1 or more in the pre-post betting market.

The recommended staking plan is that you back all selections 1-1-1-2-2-2-3-3, stopping at a winner (revert back to the first bet after a winner).

If you encounter a losing run of eight, revert back to the first bet.
