Default Sunny (?) Coast Discussions

Race 1.
Not really interested this race..Doctor Hennesy will be hard to beat..

Race 2.
Like Active Combat here but not overly confident......the topies look the class but thier wet track form is questionable..
Active chased well behind Sticksn Stones..did alright last start aswell..likes the wet , track and distance and a good jockey..
could be nice e/w odds aswell...and will have to be..

Race 3.
Very confident with With My here...has to much class...would want $3 atleast...i was on Tycoon Rose last start where she was very unlucky at 70/1 ...won't be anything like that tomorrow but will get 2nd ..and if With My gets caught up behind the pack could steal it..
will load up on With my but will keep the Rose safe..

Race 4 .
Not intersted..,but will watch Just Ordained..a horse i almost bought awhile back..

Race 5.
The top 2 look the best here..not treated to badly with weights and has been running in way harder races..also think Thee Auld Aussie has big show..
..hard to seperate them ..so i'll just have fun with tris ect...
Bit of a tip about Rum Striker..not sure yet but might be worth a e/w or atleast have in your tris..

Race 6.
Empyreal all the way here..looks way to good...4's in the paper look even better,,doubt will be that tomorrow..
King Latarmisss loves the wet but still unsure of him or his prep..
Classic Carla has a show but might be to muddy..

Race 7.
Consular !! go the old boy...think he's the best of the day..i know its a hard race but he can carry weight and is in good form..
will work tris with. SticksnStones, YouthFull, Top MArc ,Wildly and Little Punc.

Race 8.
Like Hello possums here..will be nice e/w odds ..the wet helps and his form is better than it looks on paper...has been working very well also..
Not much in this race..fastness looks the obvious danger..

With My , Consular and Empreal specials

The Merlot Now tipping club at the pub has invested a bit on Top Marc ..we got the 8,s on thursday as we watched the rain wash away everything..

Sydney
Sweet ransom, Shantreusse, Disguise * , Verb * ,Turaga *
Melbourne
Miratec , Satay, Caprizzi Strip *, MilkShake : Salsa , Sweetn Tidy, El Zahia.
Adelaide
Aerated , Hong Kong Cheri , Jillimarg : Pommery Princess , Cool Response .
Perth
Ja Rule *

Good Luck All

Race 1: Nothing great in this race but I thought that Tropical Express might be real hard to beat here with Byrne on board and a liking for the wet another I thought might be a value hope is the bottom weight Pappapo hit the line hard last start and has won on a wet track.

Race 2: Power Express looks asthough it really loves the wet with Patillo on board probably couldn't have a better jockey right now. I wouldn't leave I'll Wait out of calculations either to be honest looks asthough it grows another leg in the wet the problem for it will be the 1200 if I was backing anything it would be Power Express.

Race 3: Teldawn likes the wet alot and going back obviously awhile it has beaten With My at equal weights in the past will meat her atleast 2kgs better off today in more suitable conditions to her I feel, Crystal Wit, Ally Bee, Hoofer and Vee Rod look the next hardest to beat should be an alright race this.

Race 4: No interest at all.

Race 5: Atapi is probably the best horse in the race whether or not he will handle the conditions is another question from memory the Last Tycoons don't particularly like it much. Glorious Lady and Thee Auld Hussie have to be given chances aswell if Atapi can't handle it which I would think he might struggle.

Race 6: Empyreal has to be hard to beat here but I do think half of queensland will be on it today that can be dangerous on a wet track can oh so often throw up ridiculos results if Anne Carina can jump well she will be hard to beat and I thought Ravanelli and Wheel the Lead could be good e/w value.

Race 7: I like Little Punc here not a bad horse on it's day and really likes the wet not to mention no weight on it's back either Top Marc, Consular, Wildly and Youthful are all chances aswell really hard race. I like Step Ahead aswell but not sure he will handle it this wet.

Race 8: Fastness is all I am really interested in here if I decide to bet here looks very very hard to beat.

Good Luck Guys

Mav, don't worry too much about King latarmiss's prep, if anyone knows a horse better than Trevor Miller i am yet to meet them.
I have him as an each way special.

Hi Jose,,,
He's been a horse i've followed before i was just concerned about why they started him in that 1200m race..they seemed to be stepping him up in distance then they dropped him back..
Might of been just a run to get him to peak for last weekend..i dont know..
seems the longer the better for him IMO ...
Still unsure if he has the class...beat a bunch of donkeys last start aswell..
prepared to risk him here...but alittle worried
but it doesnt look like i'll get the odds i need anyway for Empyreal anyway..
so might be watching the race ..and hoping my treble holds up.
bit of a tip around for Classic Carla though..

Race 1.
Good race to watch...
Race 2.
Good win here...never thought everyone else would back him as well ..but in the end happy with the 4.65..,had the tri a few times over aswell
Race 3.
With My killed me here..had a big go at her and she dissapointed in the conditions....Got the tri here which was made it all worthwhile ,,.
went back over the records and She owes me now....think i'll let her run around without me for awhile .
Race 4.
Just Ordained did well...tuffed it out down the straight and has some ability.
race 5.
Nice tri here...bit dirty on myself for not having something on Atapi here but there was just to many chances..
Race 6,
Great win ..great odds ..very happy with the result here .
Race 7.
Poor old Consular..lost a stack ......had the tri and some of the 1st 4 but still a loss.
The Merlot Now tipping club won yet again... so not a bad result and plenty of drinking money still in the kitty as we had Verb aswell..
Race 8,
Hello possums looked a winner there for a second...a loss to finish the day..

great day in brissie..jagged a few of the excotics that paid nicely..

Sydney.
Had a go at Disguise , Verb and Turaga...all performed well and a great collect on Verb...very nice tri aswell..
thought i had it with Disgiuse..would of been real nice ..
Melbourne.
Shocker ..nothing really to say..except a big loss
Adelaide..
Had a big go at Hong Kong Cheri...love this horse..
losses on Aerated , Jillimarg and Cool Response..
made it an even day in adelaide..
Perth.
Jarule..fastest 900m horse in Wa...will be hard to hold out next start with more fitness..

Great day today except for Melbourne ..

Hope you were on old Willie Command Mr Ed ..dam horse has won twice now with me off his back,,he's won me some good collects in the past and i should of had something on him...but was real confident with El Zahia.. oh well..
well done if you were on..

Race 1: Didn't end up betting here felt everything was unders that I liked a bit.

Race 2: Tropical Express was terrible odds here and didn't bother betting here either thankfully saved my money.

Race 3: Had a good go at Teldawn here and she did ok nothing special though at this stage it was certain that the jockeys were tracking out far to wide.

Race 4: No Bet

Race 5: ended up having a bit of a go at Thee Auld Hussie and she ran on well but was always going to struggle catching Atapi with the run it had got an absolute charmed run through which certainly won it.

Race 6: in the end I didn't like the race at all and pretty well stayed out thankfully I did probably should have had a bit of a go at Empyreal but there you go.

Race 7: Had a pretty good go at Little Punc and come out not to bad with it getting home pretty well for 3rd unfortunately ended up changing my mind and went another dierction with my 1st4 oh how easily this one would have been gotten paying out at $1200 wouldn't have thought it would have paid anywhere near that.

Race 8: had a little bet on Fastness and was diappointed but you get that.

All in all had a pretty average day could have been so much better if only Happy Ivor could have hung on was surprised how much that it was paying.

Its was a jackpot 1st4 Raw...and your right ..i was left wondering why i had it only for 1/4 .. ..thought there were nice priced exotics allday..
it was very easy to get ,, oh well hindsight in racing can drive you crazy..

Fastness looks like a pony ..or was it just the way he looked on tv...made up nice ground though..
United looks to have some ability,,,ridulous odds though..

Tough time of the year Raw..was glad to get a collect yesterday as i've copped a hammering during the weekdays...think i'll scale down weekday betting even further and concentrate on the big days..

watched the video of Disguise's race..so close and would of been a huge collect ..oh well..maybe next week..

Heard today that With My is to be retired...been a frustrating horse to follow..thought she had peaked when just pipped by Glamour Puss a few starts ago..but she always sucks me in...have had some nice collects from her so shouldnt complain..and can see her being a valuable broodie ..

Yea Mav I must admit she was a horse I followed quite a bit but about 12 months ago I got off of her not co0mpletely but it just seemed I was lucky enough to be backing her when she was winning in the end I did pretty well out of the horse she was just a good solid mare.
