Default Brownlow Medal

Anyone having a punt on the Brownlow.. I have the top 10 like this:

20 S.Goodwin (Adelaide)
20 S.West (W.Bulldogs)
18 C.Bruce (Melbourne)
18 A.Goodes (Sydney)
17 P.Bell (Fremantle)
17 C.Judd (West Coast)
14 N.Dal Santo (St. Kilda)
13 J.Carr (Fremantle)
13 J.Bowden (Richmond)
13 N.Riewoldt (St. Kilda)

Potential surprises at odds (there is always one):
S.Black (Brisbane)
N.Buckley (Collingwood)
J.Bartel (Geelong)
S.Mitchell (Hawthorn)
K.Cornes (Port Adelaide)
C.Fletcher (West Coast)
D.Cross (W.Bulldogs)

My 2 real smokies are Mitchell and K.Cornes, wouldn't shock if 1 nearly pinches it,
someone unexpectedly always does. I have them both in Top 5 for games polled in..
and the umps love Mitchell, 32/33 possible votes in the reserves a few years ago.

Bets placed :
$70 @ $9 - S.Goodwin to Win
$100 @ $6.50 - C.Bruce Top 5
$5/$20 @ $126/$32 - S.Mitchell E/W
$5/$20 @ $126/$32 - K.Cornes E/W

Could've possibly got better odds but I only use 2 accounts.

Any thoughts? Anyone having a punt on it?

cant see Goodes not winning. Sydney have a lot of no frills types in midfield so i dont think he will have anyone taking votes off him, whereas Judd/Kerr/Cousins , Goodwin/Mcleod/riccuto and West/Johnson will be taking votes off each other, Goodes could be a huge winner maybe by 5+

Default Goodes will NOT WIN!

I can see Goodes NOT winning... he was ordinary the first half of the year, then started playing better in the the second half BUT Paull Williams, O Loughlin, Jude Bolton, Brett Kirk and Barry Hall will steal many votes off him! Hes so overated.... and all the swans band wagon fans are jumping on since they are in the finals.. @ 2.60 its a joke... im not going to take those odds.. crazy! Chris Judd will beat him .

im thinking
EDWARDS, Tyson (ADEL) top 5 @ 4.75
PAVLICH, Matthew (FRE) top 3 @ 6.00

GOODWIN, Simon (ADEL) to win @ 7.00
JUDD, Chris (WCE) to win @ 6.00

and 1 dollar on SANDILANDS, Aaron (FRE) top 5 @ 101

Personally like Judd and Sam Mitchell to be Hawthorn top scorer.

That was the only bet all night that I stuffed up. Silly me, I went for Adelaide.

This was a great brownlow for punting. Went almost exactly to script. Three players appeared to stand out and they finished 1,2,3 in order of how I thought they would. (and 1,2,3 in order of favouritism)
