Question Arbitrage method

Has anyone heard of this XXXXXXX?

I had someone ask me about it and they showed me the glossy readings. They are an arbitrage company. I have my own opinion which i shared but probably shouldnt say anything in here....just yet.
I said i would ask around and get some feedback if possible BEFORE they part with their $thousands

Thanks.

Baco

It was a friend of a friends who asked me for my opinion. I smelt a rat but still cant find any evidence for her. I found the threads ( goes for a few years too, quite a cracker of a thread) on cyberhorse and Larry Pickering. larrysscams.blog.com/
It most definately looks similiar to what is going on there however the XXX Trading name isnt anywhere to be found.
I was hoping to dig up some dirt for her but...............
They want $thousands up front in what they call a license fee << well thats where i stopped! i told them to ask further as you dont need a license to bet etc etc....
I actually think she went ahead anyway??
She did run an ASIC check but it looked a bit dodgy to me. Alarm bells ring when i see this:

..... QLD under ....l PTY LTD reg ....
The reading material has an ACT address though

I wouldnt look twice at anything like that becuase i'm a sceptic on everything, but its hard to put someone else off it and tell them to put their money back in their pocket if i cant find anything.

Even if it is legit, the return on arbing is usually around the 2.5% POT mark where one opens up about 27 bookies accounts.
Churning over big chunks of money.
If they promise any more than 2.5% , be very aware.
I have met people who used to sell such systems for such companies at higher prices than this & they said the same thing.

That sounds like fun.
At the price , it is outrages.
I feel your warning bells will be correct.

I have found any system in this price range are geared towards people who know nothing about racing , because they dont know any different.

There is a lay betting method called Laying 7 System that has had some high profile people in racing giving it 2 thumbs up after testing it. Cost is around $86
You may want your friend to have a look at it & save her $thousands & maybe it might even make more than 2.5% on turn over.

Cheers.

Cheers.

well i better not argue with the boss other then to say 2 things:

1> if people are stoopid enough to invest in unsecured things like this then who can help that.....fair enough
2> its dissapointing however that the possibility that any company might / might not / can / will ....continue to rip people off if chat forums wont let the community become more aware of them whether bad or good via well....forums!
Moderator you may aswell bin this thread if we cant use their name as it now defeats the purpose of asking the original question or allowing anybody to know for future reference

i should be able to say ....as its fact...i rang this particular company today to question them. i told the person on the other end i was ringing on behalf of someone they got interested in this. I mentioned i live mostly off a punting system, have been involved in the horse industry for many years, own a horse and have some questions for him........

1. he didnt know his bosses name without having to look it up whilst talking to me.
2. he didnt know how many people are already in it
3. he didnt know why the company changed names in 01/07 from a 'property development' company on the gold coast to now an arbitrage company
4. he infact wasnt able to answer any questions unless i email him my questions.
5. when he knew it was not much of a conversation and diverted to email again he told me he was in charge of 'technical support' 'computer help' i asked him what help do people need? there is no hands on by the investor...you get traders to do the work.

^^ i think you get the drift of how the rest went.
