Default Mo's Greyhound Thoughts

SHEPPARTON Race 5

5 HARMER BROTHERS $2
7 JUST EILEEN $4.2
8 COOL FELLA $12
6 HOODED CHILL $14
1 MISS GORVESTA $20
2 JOFFA $33
3 CLOVALLEY DUKE $50
4 FIERY COWGIRL $100

#5 HARMER BROTHERS is way better than these.
It's at Even Money because that is the Chance it has of getting away safely today.
Probably the Best way of tackling this Race Puntingwise would be to back it if available at say, over $2.50
I'm not big into Large Bets on Short Prices so I'll stick with the Trifecta
I've found #7 JUST EILEEN as being able to get away quickly enough to safely be up near the lead and hang on for a place.

TRIFECTA
5 - 7 - 8,6,1 for $2
5 - 8,6,1 - 7 for $1

Costs $9

SHEPPARTON Race 6

I've got the #2 and the #3 getting away to a substantial lead, but the #6 overpowering them both.
The rest of the runners will be getting in each others way

6 MY LIPPLING $2.5
2 KREUZER KEATS $4
3 TOKEN BREEZE $4.5
7 DOUBTING BULL $20
1 AREJAY LILLY $33
5 HALLUCIVE SPUR $40
4 MAGIC MOUNTAIN $50
8 SOHO MIST $125

Instead of simply Boxing My top 3, I'm betting them according to the Chances I give them.

TRIFECTAS
6 - 2,3 - 2,3 for $2.50
2,3 - 6 - 2,3 for $2
2,3 - 2,3 - 6 for $1.50

Total Cost $12

In front, but ain't ended yet.

Found one more for today

CRANBOURNE Race 9

Found a couple of early speed machines that enjoy CRANBOURNE.
They are #1 DARK SECRET and #4 DIAL TRIPLE ZERO
They Quinellad their last start here.
I find no reason why they won't do it again in this.
Finishing on to get 3rd should be #7 SALOON LAD

TRIFECTA
1,4 - 1,4 - 7 for $3

Had problems finding the 3rd dog a couple of times yesterday.
Was in too much of a hurry to get the TRIFECTA.
If I was a little more sane and only bet on what I was confident about, I could have realized a much better bottom line.
What needs to be done, is , study the Race, and then decide how to go about Betting on it.

Had a look at WARRAGUL Race 7

Found it to be as Open as.
So what I'm doing, is dumping 3 dogs that I dislike most.
2,1 and 8.
And then goes #6 what appears to be gonna start short odds.
That leaves 4 dogs.

QUINELLA
3,4,5,7 for $1
TOTAL COST $6

And because these are quite unfashionable Numbers, there should be a good return if successful

Default WARRAGUL Race 8

Looks like 5,6 and 7 will be fighting each other for the lead early.
Makes them sitting shots for #3 SHEOAK IAN who will be parked behind them.

EXACTAS
3 - 5 for $3.50
3 - 7 for $2.50
5 - 3 for $2
7 - 3 for $1.50
3 - 6 for $1

Total Cost $10.50

NOPE

Still ain't got it right.
Close though.
But, like the man said, long as the Bottom Line is in front, that's the Main Thing.

There was a late scratching in the 7th, so I put in #6.

So
OUT $16
IN $20

Still small positive POT

And a Meeting at Warrnambool tonight.
Will see if what's there soon.

And #7 COOL MOVEMENT will be challenging.
The others are #5 and #8

EXACTAS
1,7 - 1,7,5,8 for $1

Cost $6
