Cool Yep!

Shame, but true. Bit over zealous with the xxxxxxx's perhaps.

It's basically just a tipping forum now. This section is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx!

I have to agree,

Management has burnt its bridges with too many of the (old) regulars and they now post at other forums.

I pretty much only pop in now to play the comps Sportz puts on (and then I forget some weeks). If he didn't put those I probably would be here at all.

Good Luck.

Well the business is all abouts 'hits' on the forum. Any visitor will do, it doesn't have to be members. With the amount of [free] tips in the other section, lots of hits are guaranteed. More than enough to keep the advertisers happy and the money rolling in. There is also a heck of a lot of steadily expanding products and selection services for sale here too, so 'hits' are everything.

This side of the forum could sink out of sight and it just wouldn't matter any more. Business is business, so good luck to them I guess.

I often have a look at another forum BUT usually has no one on it or 3 - 4 at the most ( and not posting anything worthwhile ).

In contrast propun has normally about 6 times the traffic at anyone time.

And a hell of a lot more lively debate.

Cheers.
darky.

There is one new forum with potential. But the idiots running it want a monthly membership fees for access [for what?]. They shoot themselves in the foot by making sure they will never have many members which attracts no interested advertisers because of minimal viewing hits.

Crash, amazing how many so-called businessmen there are with the same lack of forsight. I just had some work done with a Bobcat (off subject I know but still) did the job at an agreed hourly rate, then hit me with a $25 unheard of FUEL charge,???? he got it, along with a "DON"T USE" mark after his name in my phonebook. I have many, many contacts, stupid man.

Party -
Why didn't you tell the SOB to ******** off - he will go to the next customer and think it's OK to do the same thing - Phone up "Consumer Affairs"
tell them what happened and ask if they can stop this AH in his tracks, and recover your bullion in the process.

Allowing these despicable ************s to get away with this type of
behaviour is almost akin to condoning it.
