Default Betting Bot question.

I know the subject of Betting Bots has been spoken of a number of times by forum members. I am developing a strategy of laying the 2nd race fav when there is a specific gap between it and the 1st race fav and of course betting at the off or close to it.
I'm looking for a bot that would preform this function or have a programme created specifically for that purpose. I'm told the Greyhorse bot is capable but is complex to use and expensive. Could any forum member who knows of any other Betting Bot please reply with any details.

Thank you 217.

As long as you have a reasonable understanding of excel, Gruss Betting Assistant can do what you have described.

BetBotPro is easy to use. It will allow you to pick 2nd fav and then isolate some odds parameters.

BF Bot Manager will do the same.

Free trials on both.

BFBotManager is what you want. Use it here in Australia and have it running fully unattended on a VM in Ireland. Very stable and configurable. Developer very responsive unlike that BetBotPro joffer.

Shaun

This particular one is an Amazon EC2 Win2008 server that is running as a t1.micro "spot instance" (Amazon's jargon not mine). Spot instances enable you to bid for unused Amazon EC2 capacity.

https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/spot-instances/

January's bill was a bit less than $14. This machine has been running 24/7 since the 7th December, 2011.

We run quite a few of these things (big and small) on EC2 so give me a yell if you need more info.

Sounds a bit like a cloud server where you pay for what you need.

Yes it is kind of like that. It's brilliant to be able to keep your bots running without having to worry about power outages, kids and partners fiddling etc. They (Amazon) do try to make it sound more complicated than it is though. But considering they run some of the most advanced data centres in the world it's well worth looking at.

How do you cope with refreshing the days race list?
