it will be interesting to compare the results of those who posted early stables and those who have watched saturday's racing and have an idea about who has come back well. I don't know how much of a difference $100k will make....could be huge, could be nothing!

Chuck,

Most of the feature races during August are worth around $80,000 - $120,000. You'd probably have to win a couple of those (or win one with your stable stars) to catch up. And that's assuming the people with the $100,000 bonus haven't already picked the same horse. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Personally, there's a couple of changes I would have made if I entered after Saturday's racing, but all in all, I'm not too unhappy with what I've chosen.

By the way, just so we get this question out of the road now, I'm not going to count trophies in prizemoney won.

For example, take the Missile Stakes from the weekend. The total prizemoney was listed as $101200. That was $100000 and a $1200 trophy. First was $65000 and trophy of $1200, second $20000, third $9000, fourth $4000, fifth $2000. Now, in this instance, if you have the winner, you get $65000, not $66200.

Just thought I'd clear that up now, in case anyone was wondering.

Going through the stables and there are 93 different 3YOs and 210 different 4YO+ horses chosen. So a fair bit of variety which was what I was looking for. The most number of times any horse has been chosen is 10.

As you know I originally had Fashions Afield but changed to Stratum after its barrier trial and its cost
