![]() G'day, Sportz. You're probably just about to explain this, but just in case...how do the extra stable selections work? Does everyone just select 1 extra horse for each race and post it here, or email them to you? Can more than 1 person select the same horse for this portion of the comp?

![]() I don't think this is much of a secret and not sure if I am supposed to do this yet but I will have the Cat this weekend was close to taking him as a main selection but he just isn't going to be going for big enough money races.
Apache Cat for me this weekend |

You can post your selections on here, and yes, you can choose the same horse as someone else. On Thursday, when I post the final fields, I will give each horse a rating based on it's probability of winning prizemoney, and it's these ratings we'll be using to select our runners. We'll be able to choose different numbers of horses depending on how highly they're rated. For example, I'm not giving anything away when I say that Apache Cat is likely to be the highest rated horse this week and choosing him will be equal to choosing 2 or 3 lower rated horses. |

Actually, I've had a bit of a rethink about this, and I think it might be better for the comp if you do send your selections to me by email. Last edited by Sportz : 16th August 2007 at 01:55 PM. |

Choose your stable runners In the end, I decided to go with 5 feature races to give people greater choice. These are the races where you can make additional selections to the ones you already have in your stable. In these 5 feature races, the horses in bold have already been claimed in the draft and you can't choose them. With the rest of the runners, I have given them all a rating (out of 100) based on their chance of winning prizemoney. The idea is to choose which ever horses you like from these 5 races as long as their ratings don't add up to more than 100. So in other words, you could have 50+50, 40+40+20, 80+20, 40+30+20+10, 20+20+20+20+20 etc. And you can choose more than 1 horse in a race if you like. Please send your selections to me by email. You have from now until midnight Friday night (Qld time) to send them. sportznut67 @ hotmail . com If you have to make a change to your selections, then you can, but once the midnight deadline arrives, that's it. And if one of your selections happens to be scratched on Saturday morning, I'm afraid that's just bad luck. Here are the races: ROSEHILL R5-2.40 PREMIERE STAKES 1200 M 1st $91000, 2nd $28000, 3rd $12600, 4th $5600, 5th $2800 1 GERMAN CHOCOLATE (50) 2 MENTALITY - William 3 NEWPORT (10) 4 UTZON (30) 5 FASHIONS AFIELD (50) 6 GINA LOLLAWITCHA (20) 7 SOLO FLYER (40) 8 CAMARILLA - Chuck ROSEHILL R6-3.20 RUN TO THE ROSE 1300 M 1st $65000, 2nd $20000, 3rd $9000, 4th $4000, 5th $2000 1 CENT PER CENT (30) 2 RAPID JACKO (40) 3 VECCHIA ROMA (20) 4 GRAND DANCER (20) 5 ROYAL DISCRETION (30) 6 TRIPLE HONOUR (40) 7 LISSON GROVE (40) 8 EL CAMBIO (30) 9 TURFFONTEIN (40) 10 FIDELE (20) 11 PLEASURE TIME (20) 12 BEYONCE'S STAR (10) 13E KINTYRE (20) 14E SWIFT JIM (10) CAULFIELD R3-1.45 VAIN STAKES 1100 M 1st $60000, 2nd $18000, 3rd $9000, 4th $4500, 5th $2500, 6th $2000, 7th $2000, 8th $2000 1 ZIZOU - Michael 2 MURTAJILL - wesmip1 3 SHREWD RHYTHM - Spartacus 4 DIPLOMATIC FORCE - Maverick1993 5 ALLERVITE (20) 6 PURREALIST (20) 7 MORGAN DOLLAR (20) 8 MARCHING - Horse Whisperer 9 TIS FOLLY (10) 10 GREEN MANKINI (10) CAULFIELD R4-2.20 QUEZETTE STAKES 1100 M 1st $60000, 2nd $18000, 3rd $9000, 4th $4500, 5th $2500, 6th $2000, 7th $2000, 8th $2000 1 FORENSICS - Michael 2 SLEEK CHASSIS - Maverick1993 3 CHINCHILLA ROSE - Magivor 4 ROSE CEREMONY (20) 5 GABBIDON (20) 6 EL DAANA (30) 7 QUEEN FALVELON (10) 8 GRAVITRON (10) 9 BEL MER (20) CAULFIELD R6-3.40 J.J.
