Big chance Northerly - even 3/4 fit and lumping 12.5kgs over the limit. Doesn't put up a great show, wouldn't bother going east at this point in time.

Was just thinking the hannans may have been a good race for Northerly to kick off in. Maybe the weight on a hard track would be too much.

The trip to and from Kal probably not in best interest, especially if immediately followed by a trip over east.

Great to see a WA thread, keep up the good work guys. Just moved over from Sydney a couple of months ago. Love a punt, just a hobby, have a lot of fun. Over time most likely losing but that’s entertainment! So intend to tune-in and provide my input here and there (if you don’t mind). From what I seen on this thread and the whopper over the page, I’m sure I’ll get plenty of food for thought. Cheers.

Northerly has a problem with winning races in WA these days, especially when good horses are getting a smeg load less weight, expect a solid run midfield somewhere, best finish probably 5th or 6th But thats not to say this little black duck wont be willing him past the post in pole position of course  [ This Message was edited by: Sovsy on 2004-09-08 18:01 ] |

Great news – Fred Kersley has just been inducted into the Australian Harness Racing Hall of Fame. Congrats Fred!

Good luck to Fred (and his family), certainly has put a lot into harness racing over many years.
Apparently they got him over to Melbourne on the pretence someone else was being inducted & he was just a guest for the ‘pretend’ induction.
