Wow a great day today thanks mainly to a Flukey tri at Mornington..was a real hard day today with alot of roughies getting up..the bookies would of cleaned up..
should of stuck with Angel Fish as its a horse both William and i have been following ,,,should of known it would get up when i jumped off it..But a great day just the same,,will have to go and study for tomorrow,,, :smile:

thanx Racing Novice. The tris were great today thanx to a nice one at Mornington,,,hard day at the office,,what about all those roughies,,thank god it got alittle more normal later in the day.

When do you normally post your tips?. I tried 10 Tri today (on paper only) and guess what. All gone. No winner. Used the rating in Queensland Tab and the odds from them. Nothing good. Will try again tomorrow.

Hi Matilda ,,you'll notice that today the only trifectas that paid anything were the ones i picked the winners in.
You have to be confident of your selection in the race and as well as your saver (usually prepost fav).
Mornington for example R4 i was confident in Arch Of capri but also gave a chance to Siamun. R7 i was confident with Sweetest taboo but new the danger would be The Moss factor.
I broke my own rule in race 1 in Canterbury where i thought there were about 6 chances,,I liked Ultra star because it won so easily last start but wasnt real confident in Monsoon Wedding so i shouldnt of bet,,i was letting emotion get in the way..
It would of been easy for me today to just give up early,,i think i lost the first 4 races but i stuck to the plan and jagged some nice winners..
Be selective in your races. :smile:
