I agree. I always state my case why I think somethings a good bet. Granted Ive been right only around 50% of the time, but I would like to hear others opinions on why they like certain teams.

Couldn't agree more Mr Logic. I just wish they would stay on the Racing forum and leave this thread for those that are serious about winning on AFL. If I wanted cheap uninformed opinions I'd go down to the local on Friday afternoon.

If someone wants to post a tip without giving any justification for it they are welcome to do that.

However, for the forum to have meaningful discussion about games we would hope posters would be able to do a bit more than just post selections to win in two team contests.

Please also note personal abuse is not acceptable.

Why don't you think about having a forum for "tips" only. That way, the other forums will not be cluttered up with "tips".

I see Betsy is trying to start a tipping comp on the Gambling forum now.

is feeling better today
Sportz I am awaiting your response,it will go something like this
Rabbitz, just because Brisbane won don't think........blah blah blah....you fill in the rest

Im taking a longterm double tommorow for G Train to win Coleman and Saints to win the flag. It's around $25 and looks value at that price for mine,

I'd like you to go back and search out every time I've bagged you mugsy.
I believe the score is about 9 to 1 in my favour.
St.Kilda won't win the flag, and are terrible value.
Only bloke missing is Aaron Hamill and even with him, they won't play any better.
They blew it last year!

No Rabbitz, I'm going to say that they do still have some chance.

Normally, a side in their position (4 wins/7 losses) would be little or no chance, but they are being helped dramatically by the totally inconsistent form of some of the other teams, particularly St Kilda and Fremantle. As badly as the Lions have been playing, they're only 1 win and % out of the 8. A team with their skill could make that up. It looks like you'll only need 11 wins and % or 11 wins and a draw (Port Adel?) to make the finals.

Having said that, I still don't think that punter would be feeling too good.
