In my opinion it is an ego trip and when the tips go bad, the ego is deflated and we bail out.
If the hours spent analysing form resulted in long term profit, why would you post your selections on a forum for free.

Because I am an old lefty from way back.... and my mum taught me to share...

I don't believe that if you find something that works, you should hide it or not share.. Sorry but I can't agree with the above comment.. it is supposition, apart from where Imagele relates his own experience. Imagele or anyone for that matter have no clue as to the motives of people who post tips, only the poster has the clue... I am not as cynical as Imagele, I believe that there are people that are willing to share.. for no other reson than to genuinely offer assistance.. As has been said often here.. take em or leave em..but don't criticise the bloke/girls who post em for free... or question their motives

The amount of money that would be wagered on mine or Sportz or anyone else's tips would IMO be negligible, and not affect the overall dividend..

If the not share attitude were to prevail elsewhere on the net p2p would die a horrible death.. There is nothing wrong with sharing, be it files or tips, and others should'nt really try to paint them as something they are not, on a hunch... I am only talking from my perspective here ofcourse. I also feel that Sportz and most of the others who post here are genuine. I know I don't and I am reasonably confident that they don't see posting tips as some sort of pi***ng contest. My 2 bobs worth

Imagele is obviously very entitled to post as he sees fit... I also am entitled to disagree and post a rebuttal. I like to look for the positives rather than the negatives.

G'day XP.
Thanks for your reply.
You are indeed entitled to your opinion.
Get your P.O.T. up to around 20-25% over a long period of time and then let's see what your attitude is.
If you ever achieve that target, I for one will be jumping on board.

Gday Imagele
Now there is a holy grail LOL (for me at least) Last month I managed better than 15% (flat stake best tote) so am ecstatic about that.. especially this time of the year.. that is rating all races even ones full of duds and first starters etc..... I reckon if I stuck to races with more exposed form, I may be able to improve POT another few %.. but I choose to do em all

If you are acheiving those numbers more power to ya... And No I wouldn't change my mind as I think the number of people who use my ratings is minimal and have no effect on price returned.

Cheers

Xp.
have you ever analysed your win % and level stakes profit/loss on maiden races.
Surely you could eliminate these for starters.
By the way, I am not successful long term on the punt. That's why I was posting my selections.

Just for fun, I'll post my selections against yours for the last 4 races at Geelong.
Race 5. Generals Command- Hurricane Hunter-Endless Odyssey-Light Of Prosperity
Race 6. Drizzle-Deign To Dance-Portline-Our Simba
Race 7. Ballygoran-Gainful- First Cru-Magical River
Race 8. Laogon- Mr Reminiscing-Count Lago-Great Provider.

For that reason nobody should take anyone's tips seriously but rather see it as no more than a game where posters compete with each other to see who can score the most brownie points and gain acceptance amongst their peers.
When I stopped posting due to a perceived lack of interest or acknowledgement of my efforts, I realised also that I was guilty of not acknowledging the efforts of others as well.
Perhaps some life could be breathed back into this forum if the real experts, the owners, posted some free quality information on a daily basis.
Imagele

Very forthright and challenging views you display.......

You're off the mark with regards to my motives for posting, but you have taken quite a broad brush.... so I don't take your comments to heart.

All the best

Got to claim 2 placings here against your 1.
Me in front so far.
Damn it. That Karikuri knocked me out of the quaddie.

Might have just pipped you X in race 7 with the winner first in descending order.

Should have looked at Brendan Tupper's tips. Now, he IS a good tipster. He had Karikuri on top, and simply betting on each of his 3 selections in every single race, you'd be 39% up with a race to go. Betting only on his top picks, you'd be 141% ahead.
