It proves to be true once again.....a wise man said that Caulfield Cup form is the best form to follow.
Back any horse which finishes within 2.0l of the winner!

Cheers.

Isn't it amazing. After the Caulfield Cup was run, absolutely everyone was saying how great the runs of Delta Blues and Pop Rock were and they came in dramatically in the betting. Now look what happens.

And look at how the price of Delta Blues just kept on getting out further and further today simply because an unknown Japanese jockey was on it. If Oliver had been on Delta Blues instead, it probably would have been 6 or 7-1.

IMO,

Questions should be asked regarding the ability of the favourite to run the 3200m considering the doubt over it's fitness.
As I have said repeatedly......when in doubt....take them out..!
Any arguments to the contrary?

Cheers.

I tip my cap! Only two selections & first on this thread with the Japanese quinella. Top shelf Horse Mad!

yeah boxed flexi

i had the following:

1st: Delta Blues, Activation, Pop Rock, Dizelle
2nd: Yeats, Delta Blues, Tawqeet, Short Pause, Activation, Pop Rock, Zipping, Dizelle, Kerry O'Reilly, Maybe Better
3rd: Yeats, Delta Blues, Tawqeet, Short Pause, Activation, Pop Rock, Zipping, Dizelle, Kerry O'Reilly, Maybe Better

4*9*8 = 288 combinations, $100 outlay returned 34.72% of $1000 = $350 return

i'm annoyed because i had it down to the 4 winning horses and i was pretty confident about that, but threw in a few others just for safety and because a roughie often jags a place (not this year though). i wish i hadn't in hindsight because i was left with the top 4 + maybe better and yeats

well there was definitely doubt over Delta Blues and jockey Iwata, after he sat 4 wide on Anapine the whole race in the 4th i was feeling quite nervous after that shocker
