So far so good I like your thinking they all look like safe bets .......I think theres a chance Penrith Parra Wests & Newcastle can just about win outright I know its against the flow but thats what my guts tells me .Ive had 10 on Penrith outright if they do allright ill look at some handicap bets for the others tomorrow . And yes im aware of what a class outfit easts look at the mo lol

Yeah, you would have thought you were pretty safe giving the Roosters a start of 16.5 points!!! Penrith are definitely the real deal.

As pointed out to Marshy, Penrith are definitely the real deal...question mark over how they will go through mid season...they are a little thin (re depth)
but have proven they have a solid platform under Lang but everyone now will be looking to counter their forwards and halves combination...great to watch but Roosters will come back even stronger! Good luck and happy punting... |

They were pathetic as were the cowboys, i had +11.5 for the cowboys, thank god they scored late., OH phil bailey wont you come score oh phil bailey wont you come score , on sports tab you can back players hd/hd for most trys they had phil bailey $3.75, brian fletcher $5.00 and a tie $1.55. bailey was a special to out score him , the easiest bet iv'e seen for a while. Pitty i didn't think to take him as 1st try scorer, DOH !

You just can NEVER count on the Cowboys winning any game, even when they're playing against a relatively weak team. I mean, they had never been beaten by the Wests Tigers before last night and they were playing at home, so all the 'experts' were tipping them to win. So much for that!!! I didn't see any of yesterday's games. Were the Sharks really that bad or were Souths actually pretty good?

Anyway, here are my bets so far this weekend:
AFL Adelaide (+11.5) vs Brisbane (1 unit @ $1.85) - LOST St Kilda to beat Essendon (2 units @ $1.70) - WON NRL Penrith (+3.5) vs Roosters (1 unit @ $2.00) - WON Canberra to beat Parramatta (2 units @ $1.50) - WON S12 Crusaders to beat Brumbies (2 units @ $1.60) - WON Treble: Hurricanes, Sharks, Blues (2 units @ $1.65) - Still Running EPL Newcastle to beat Everton (2 units @ $1.60) - WON So far, so good. How have you guys gone? There are a few tough games remaining. In the NRL I think I'll have a small bet on Manly (+4.5) and Melbourne (+6.5) and in the AFL, I think I'll probably back Sydney. Sports, watched the N Queensland last week and thought they had the chance to clean up the Raiders but made so many errors...they are like the Warriors in that they are a confidence team and it looks like they are on a downer...
Re the Rabbitohs and Cronulla...reckon it was a combination of Souths improvement and Sharks self destruction...who would want to be a coach? Backed Penrith (line) one unit and first to score a try (happy with that one) and the Chiefs...stayed away from others cos was not sure...like to take the Warriors at those odds today! |
