Hey Sportz. Do you remember how well the Mummy has run first up in the past?

I usually put a lot of stock in a trainer of high status(ala Freedman) running first up in classy spots here in the states(example Alinghi) but do you think Mummy's well meant, or the 2 Europeans? They look classy but might be too short for them. Perlin looks ready to score. Tough race, tough card, tough game, eh? How is the track condition looking for Flem?

Drying out. Should be good by race time.

Mummify has had just a couple of minor placings from 6 first up runs and 3 minor placings from 7 starts at this distance. Do think it has some rough chance though.

It's the sort of race where a horse like Mummify, First Charter or Kindjhal could well run into a place, but personally, as far as the win is concerned, I rate them Perlin over Confectioner and Hollow Bullet.

Now the forecast is for showers, so the track probably won't dry out after all. Sorry.

I reckon HB has been overated in the past, don;t reckon she is a genuine caulfield cup contender at all. BUT I reckon you will be able to get odds about hollow bullet today, and with the track being good she should, if she as good as a caulfield cup contender should be, she should win and if not be right in the finish. If she didn;t run well today i would be pretty concerned.

Thanks for that info Sportz. It's huge in my decision especially since my buddy, Mummy is going to unleash on Mummify and he is the biggest jinx. I like Perlin too, but I don't know about HB. Great card!

SR 2 Break the Barrier - e/w chance at least.

Was $7.10 - $3.50 shortening now though.

Similarly SR3 Coolroom Candidate - e/w.

Come on Nelly!
