Great start to the day...My Best Tycoon paid more than i expected ..

Race 2.
Winaura won as tipped..but to short for me...gets me alittle when these short ones get up..but there were a few shorties around today that didnt get up ..
a good type this horse.

Race 3.
La Montagna..great value...great win...been good to me this horse..
a few hard luck stories in the race but you cant take anything away from this horse....

Race 4.
Bellargo way to short...thought was very unlucky...a non betting race again for me..Appleby won very well..getting more consistent of late..

Race 5.
Told you this was a horrible race...and the winner pays 70/1 ,,,to much of a lottery..good luck if you jagged it..

Race 6.
Algo to rub salt into the wounds for not buying him...also backed Levante..
piisssd about Heracles killling my 1st4 ..
happy with the result though..

Race 7.
Backed Messian here with the good track and battled on well..a loss as i didnt think Matey had it in him..

Race 8.
Didnt have a bet in this race..Was on Mameluke last start but was dissapionted in him....and of course he wins...always the way..

5 betting races...4 winning races...fantastic day that could of been even better if i was my usual forgiving self and backed Mameluke again..

I thought Mining Silver had got me for sure. And when Mameluke won, i still thought he'd lose it on protest. Didn't see the head-on, but it seemed as though MS lost a bit of momentum when he got to Mameluke - as if they'd bumped. Obviously not, good end to the day. Nice to see Lachlan River get back to some form too

Congrats on your winners too Mav and Sportz, Algorithm was unbelievable value, given the 1st up record.

i didnt think matey had it in him either, but it dropped a huge weight and obviously didnt get a good start last time to get the lead like it normally does. i had e/w on matey and messian so i was happy with that finish to the day as my bet for the last was scratched so i thought id quit while i was ahead

I didnt get to see the race, so thanks for the background info..always good to know what happened......would have turned an ok day into a great one..them's the breaks.. too many seconds lol

Matey was the saviour for me... glad I went back for seconds to take advantage of the price on offer.

Looking fwd to tomorrow at Flem...always great value there on the Tuesday meeting with all the mug money slushing around.All one has to do is pick a few winners lol.

The cup itself? well thats not so much of a great event imo..but the value selection looks like being Vinnie Roe for me at this point. I'll be rapt if Makybe Diva can do it, and happy if Excellent gets up.....
