Your way off the mark Gazza, but boy-o-boy w924 is so close he's scary. Green cape is just up the road from me. A few mates and I pioneered that place [a lot of others too]. Kingies a plenty and believe it or not, a couple of the big swords themselves that I was involved in capturing. I took the some of the pictures covering that incident. Didn't write the article though.

Did you read [Fishing world] about the poor ****** fool with a 80kg. game rig and harness on the Green Cape rocks who hooked into something gigantic ? A very quick mate with a knife saved his life as he was sliding toward the briny, hopelessly and totally rigged up to follow that monster. Funniest thing I have ever seen [after we all settled down with a few coldies] !!!

Crash, I do recall that story..scary stuff..would have been the first OZ death of its type I would imagine...? .another reason not to fish alone off the rocks.

Cheers

Hi Sportz..you got a point there.... apologies. I'd rather read your selections and racing comments any day.

All the best
