notice the diffrence in the totes for royal hero.

$64 for unitab and tabcorp and only $38 for supertab.
guess which one i was on.
a lucky bet but the extra would have helped.

Hi Guys wow what a good start to the day !!
Good old Snip the Doctor and then Serenote ..thought i was in for a massive day ..
love starting the day well ..the huge trifecta in Brissie and the lazy way i backed it meant i could practically sit back and just enjoy the day..
was running alittle late this morn and the early start meant the 2 tris i got first up couldnt of been better..
I had a few roughies today so i really needed a good divie or 2 early to stop the heart beating out of control later in the day....
Race 1.
Serenote...shorter than i wanted and if i was at the track early i couldv'e got better odds but the tri more than made up for it..
Race 2.
Didnt have a bet here,,Reigart looks pretty good..
Race 3.
Backed Decibeel..dissapointing....glad dont tell clang didnt win
Race 4.
Woohoo Milady Clang..ridden a treat ..nice divie...
Race 5.
Jumped off Vive Le Roi here as he looked a shocker..very ordinary in the coat...had a big tri wiith Emit time and he was never in it..
Race 6.
Levante e/w at odds...missed the kick after rearing..didnt travel at all and looked as if he went amiss,,
Race 7.
TT was always going to be hard to beat ...Deuxieme was always wide but did run well considering....back him next start for sure...
RAce 8.
Should of went e/w here with Seanza but got greedy...had the best run just couldnt catch them...looked good 50m out but HArd to catch proved just that..

Well done Sven ..4 winners !! me the other 2 ..we only missed a 70/1 shot and Sequestrate...

other states were ordinary,,,
Sydney
losses on Zago and Standabove but a good divie with Turago meant it was even..
Melbourne
Our Rapheal loss....good win by Tristo..a horse i follow but i didnt think hed be able to give them that much start and catch them..
Adelaide
a 3rd and a 2nd ... close but not close enough...
Werribee
Woohooo good old Snip the doctor 1st..

so in summary a even day in other states ...a huge day in Brissie..only 2 winners but the bottom looks good ..and thats the main thing..

Happy days my shout for chrissie drinks...
i've already started ...

G'day guys,

Yea, was a good day today, the racing was really enjoyable. Nicely done w/ Serenote and Milady Clang Mav, they're the sort of horses you have to get on exactly the right day .

How good was Takeover Target also, he may not have been as visually impressive, but the time was super fast again.

Hopefully someone was helped by our selections today .

Sven

ps. Topsy, you should get some solace from the fact that you backed the horse at big odds and it won - great effort there.

yes very happy witht he result shows the difference with the totes though.

it was this post of mav's that caused me to back it though.
mav would wonder how could he have done that.
in the listed horses of the day the first race had serenote and amber lodge and dantibes rhythm serenote drew barrier 12 at doomben and also was beaten 9.3 lengths last start so i disregarded it. of course that was demonstrated that i was on the wrong track with my studies.
aften that i got royal hero, cold start and also had fires of ireland (2nd) stayed away from the magnificicent takeover target's race
picked up my leo and secret monarch in ascot and left most of the other listed horses alone.
also got second in 3 sydney races out of 3 but lost money.
a good day.
on anothe issue i am getting used to not having tvn so sydney and melbourne are becoming a side event these days.
