Patezza will be cherry-ripe for this looks a strong chance
Utzon yet to win 1600 (from memory) but looks more than capable 20/1 Apache Cat looks good value in fine form ditto Ike's Dream and like Patezza will be cherry-ripe for this |

Bit disappointing to see PRIMUS not lining up in the Doncaster but a great chance in the Derby in any case. My Doncaster selections are now: PATEZZA APACHE CAT DESERT WAR ROSDEN |

winning form's good form and Casino Prince looks a real goer put him on top
I Got Chills unknown the distance and syd way of going but has been impressive to date Universal Queen's randwick win top effort looks an improver Down The Wicket improved sharply to win canberra not sure how that form will line up for this but did win well |

Apache Cat and Johan's Toy are my top 2 picks now, I love Lad of the Manor but I feel he is going to have to do an extraordinary job concedeing that much weight to some pretty good horses down the bottom of this race. I was a big fan of Patezza but on his last run I can't see him beating Lad home might be wrong but he will be racing without my money this year.
this is a triffecta I am thinking of putting on 1) Apache Cat, Johan's Toy, Malcolm 2) Apache Cat, Johan's Toy, Malcolm, Lad of the Manor, Utzon, Swick. |
