I felt the same way, but couldn't resist a little nibble at the $20 on betfair. Backed Sunday Adieu and Wakil as well, but Wheel the Lead was by far the best result - he was quite well weighted after the claim and went ok at the same trip at EF last start. The jockey did a very good job from the barrier.

Looked like a nice betting day and that's how it turned out. I had 5 winners on top from the 8 races.

Managed to back Nevada Gambler $8.4, My Centurian $4.9, Wheel the Lead $20, Mitanni $2.5, Starlactic $3.1 and Nexgen $3.4 for a decent profit.

Didn't end up backing Rock on Bye, which was a bit short.

keeping the fingers crossed helped...managed the last couple in brissie with race 7 being an excellent result for the multis..(saved my bacon) really needed a big result somewhere..
had 14 bets ...and got the 4 winners..
Losses, Skyleda, Maxylegs,Tornadic Sky,Bella Arena,Alpen,Canary Island,Super Elegant,Raja Dancer,Rescuer,Attractions..
Winners, Starlactic,Nexgen,Plachutta,Private Frisco

hard work but managed a profit......unusual for me to have so many shorties ...not my style but it just seemed one of those days..especially in Brissie...
Hope you guys had a good one
