Let's hope he wins first Rain Lover, then they can quibble as much as they like.

I see that loadandlockett has also tipped Lawmaker (in another thread), Perth Placegetter. Have my fingers crossed! What an amazing comeback by Lawmaker after such a huge break! Can't recall anything similar in recent times.

Agree Rain Lover, a champion effort to get up after racing wide and receiving a bit of check at a crucial stage. What a great story indeed!
And a terrific ride from Jeff Noske. Was he fined for that little bit of joy shown just on / after the winning post, hope not. Let’s not forget the effort of the trainer Ruth Banner, who at 71 years young, becomes the first female trainer to prepare winners in the Coolgardie, Boulder & Kalgoorlie Cups. Think Ohio ran a good race to finish 5th. Perfect Minx (finished midfield) looks to have lost the zest. Hope you both had a good win on Lawmaker Rain Lover & loadandlockett, and anybody else out there that followed this thread. Managed the exacta myself, missed out on the tri, where’s the NSW Tab when you want them (i.e. flexi bet tri)! Every chance Honami at Belmont yesterday, loadandlockett. This horse has been most disappointing last couple of campaigns. On or near his best, would have won yesterday with a leg in the air! _________________ All the best from the West Sandgroper  [ This Message was edited by: Sandgroper on 2002-09-15 09:13 ] [ This Message was edited by: Sandgroper on 2002-09-15 09:18 ] |
