Not a bad day had a win again mainly due to Daring Fortune but alos through a couple of hundred on Ramon Squire in the last (It was more my heart than anything and I know that isn't a good way to bet but so be it) nowhere near last week but I still managed to get a win which is all your after.

Race 1: Instructed looked good and should get a few more wins this prep. Lombardy very dissapointing but i dont think many were backing him. Craiglea Emma consistent as ever. cant be dissappointed with her.

Race 2: Well Raw was right on the money with daring fortune. On the Up never seems to be on the up when im on her and today she seemed to be a little better behaved.

Race 3: Scriven the factor here. Showed he was up for a big day after a top ride in the first. Stolit well he's starting to get a bit costly.

Race 4: Isurava again impressive. definitely improved from his last sydney run and looked to love the softish ground. Pepperwood showed me up.....i didn't have much of an opinion about this horse but he's shown there might be a top race in him.

Race 5: Well my as i've said before if i completely bag a horse get on it and i had completely sacked the jackal and it turned around and bit me on the a-s-s. i ended jumping off aim so high just because the leaders werent going too good. i got on foxmore which was only plodding home late. Sectagonal just cant seem to get a win this prep there always just seems to be one better than him on the day

Race 6: Well maybe todays run finally will convince them to spell the Gold. She's been up for a long time and has mixed it with the top and i think she's definitely classed in the likes of our current internationals. Top training effort to get her this far though. I was on Fashions Afield for the place which helped me out. good run. Nova Star well Stathi decided he'd be the top jock for the day. Doubting solid late and J'adane deserves to win one soon

Race 7: Ice Chariot made me very happy. Stathi u little beauty. was a little dissapointed cause i had the quinella with mirkola lass which was a great run but the whole way up the straight im praying rampant lion would stop. good fighting run from him.

Race 8: Well i had my heart in my mouth in this one. I was cursing Pengelly for choosing the rails. All day they'd been doing nothing there and i was ready to jump through the tv and ride the horse myself but he showed he's got great ability ad with four on the trot he might worry a few more this prep.


Well what started as a terrible day ended up great. fashion afield ice charitot and Romanb Squire filled my pocket tremendously. I managed to stay away from gold edition somehow. I just wasn't prepared to take the odds. At one stage i thought she would start bout 3.20 on unitab but in the end she firmed into 2.90 which i think was the people's money on her not the punter's. The makybe factor i think everyone just wanting to get on her and hoping she bounce back and get up.

today continues the tale of woes for me this Carnival ,, thank gods it over ,,atleast in brissie

Thought the inside would be the place to be today ,,but was i wrong... took me to the 3rd race to figure this out..

Race 1,
Backed Emma and she was again very good ,,,got some of the tri here so atleast something..
Race 2,
Nexgen,, the bookies love this horse,,just doesnt have anything left...,,weighted out of everything this horse could compete in now....
Race 3
Mr Doyle has been a horse i've followed but i thought would need this..I backed Easy Rocker and he missed the run on the inside and lost momentum and with the weight couldnt pick up again.. ,,i doubt on that part of the track he would have won anyway..
Race 4,
Best of the day ...couldnt back it though at those odds...typical ???
Race 5,
Couldnt back a leader in this so Tornado was never going to win....backed Tellem e/w and had a go at the exotics which i managed a peice of,,Show Biz for 4th killed what would have been a juicy collect ...
RAce 6,
To hard for Goldie...run into a couple of rain affected tracks and track bias this prep that have cost her...silly to run the mile last week anyway..
Nova is just flying ..i took the odds about Doubting who did well and i thought Aqua was fantastic..what a horse,,,,Jdane killed my exotics,dont know why i didnt have her for third ?? but you cant have them all..
Race 7.
Things fell into place for the backmarker here In Ice Chariot,,great win and isnt rampant Lion tough..
Race 8,
BAcked Royal ida ,,,had the right run but was flat yet again....Roman Squire was massive...to do that on the inside part of the track,,wow ,,this horse will be going south for sure..

Backed Oakland Lad but got my money back and had a go at Viewed which was heartbreaking..

A few exotic collects,,and a couple of wins...still another loss .. but still enough to go back to the well for another drink,,,hmmm starting to sound like Ron Maund with Goldie...

i know what your saying raw, i was out at the track had my last $30 and put $20 win on Roman Squire for the same reason, had the other 10 $5 e/w on ten to countdown so that left me with some money in my wallet when i left
