what type of bet do you actually place with so many selections?

A Win bet using level stakes, but only with Betfair because of the superior prices.

As a matter of interest, the Neural Method has now snared the winner of Sun Coast R4 No.12, and also the $230 quinella. I got the winner at $65, however on Betfair S.P. it paid an amazing $130.

A losing day - it lost $6.90. Even though it struck 6 of the 7 winners they were unfortunately amongst the fancied horses.

There have now been 239 selections for a POT of 7.9%.


Neural Method,

Today won $39.00.

There have now been 76 selections for an unrealistic POT of 78.90%.


Tomorrow I won't be looking at either system because for the past 2 Saturdays the normal method only broke even, and I've never really been enthused with the neurals for Saturday racing.

I made an expensive error yesterday with the normal system. Muswellbrook R10 was a qualifying race but I missed it. The selections would have been nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 12. No.1 won and paid $16.70 on NSW and $14.70 on Unitab. I don't know what price I would have snared it on Betfair but if it had been $12 or better, then the method would have shown a profit for the day's betting. This will not be included in the results. Its disappointing but at least the system shows promise.
