Dismiss last run and take on previous form, is my pick of the programme. In Race 6 DUPORTH (10x10) is the choice, great run behind All Silent at Flemington. In Race 7 THINK MONEY (10x10) is exactly what I'll be doing, drawn to get the run of the race and will be the one to keep out. I am sticking with PRAVANA in the last, drawn the widest probably suits as she will get back and out of trouble, will fly home.

A couple of placings last week limited the damage, Devoirs 10x3.80 and Think Money 10x2.80, a return of 66.00 and a loss of 54.00 on the day. Overall profit 15.00 and therefore a bank 1215.00.

Warm day for the Derby and great card too boot. The 1st bet will be 10x10 SIX O'CLOCK NEWS in R2, ran on well in the Geelong Cup to finish just behind the placings after being a long way back, unfortunately drawn wide and will get back. MORE THAN GREAT 20x20 is my choice in Race 4 and bet of the day,has good form around quality horses including the fav. In Race 5 I am sticking with RACING TO WIN 10x10, recent form is topsy turvey but if the real RTW turns up, he will go very close to taking it out.One from left field in the Derby Race 6, COMMONAGE CLOSE 10x10, at the moment a 50-1 pop,have had a little on it at each start since resuming and I am sticking, not a strong field and has been there abouts in lesser races. Race 9 and the get out stakes I am staying with SNIPER'S BULLET 10x10, form just soso but is capable of producing on his day and hopefully that day is today.

Bad one on Derby day but the racing was great. Sniper's Bullet 10x2.00 wasthe only collect. Loss on the day 100.00 giving an overall loss of 85.00 and a bank of 1115.00

Race 2 will see the 1st bet, LAMARR 10x10, having 3rd run back from a spell and should go close,Race 3 has the best staying maiden in Australia THINK MONEY 20x20 and should see the status broken. In Race 4 I like CHINCHILLA ROSE 10x10, runs on well and should be at her peak. HERE DE ANGELS 10x10 in Race 9 is overdue for a win and could get away with this. My pick for the Cup is DAFFODIL 10x10, her run in the CC was a gem and is one of the better chances.

Ooooh, not a profitable Carnival so far but there are 2 days left. Cup day yielded another loss, this time 83.00 down as Lamarr 10x1.80 and Here de Angels 10x1.90, a return of 37.00 and an overall loss of 168.00 leaving a bank of 1032.00.

Oaks Day and Race 1 will start precedings an I am keen on TINTERN 20x20, has improved each run this time in, drawn well and obviously goes well for young Hall. Next in line is Race 2 and I reckon HAIRY 10x10 is a real chance, has an impeccable 1st up record and could put in a screamer. BOOGALOO 10x10 in Race 5 should figure, finished of brilliantly at last run and the 1400 and the long run in will suit. DIPLOMATIC FORCE 10x10 Race 8 is worth an ew bet, hasn't performed all that well up the straight but the 1100suits.KAAVERT in Race 9 is my roughie for the day, with the exception of the Geelong run other recent runs has been ok, just hoping.

Finally cracked it for a winning day, albeit only just thanks to Tintern 20x 5.80/2.40 a return of 164.00 and a profit for the day of 44.00. The overall loss is 124.00 and a bank of 1076.00.

Tomorrow begins in Race 2and PLAYWRIGHT 10x10 is the selection, has run reasonably well 3rd run back and may run an improved race in this. ALL SILENT 20w in Race 5 has a 2nd to none chance. Phenomenal effort last start and a brilliant gutsy ride, same cobination, same result with a brilliant finish, smallish field and a good pace will see another salute.BLACK PIRANHA 10x10 in Race 6 is an excellent chance, now extremely fit and a solid miler. My best for the day is PRAVANNA 20x20 in Race 6 a remarkable run at the Valley to finish on top of the placegetters and the open spaces of Headquarters will ensure a big finish from this mare. Race 9 and BARWON EXPRESS 10x10 is the pea, nice run in Adelaide after impressive performance in Melbourne, a good get out bet,

Racing today is a pot pourri. With an eye to the summer racing carnival in Perth i will have one go at Ascot. The 1st bet of the day will be in Race 5 at Sandown FALAISE 10x10, will run the 1300 right out, something the favourites may no be able to do. Has not been far away at any of his starts this campaign and will be running on strongly.In Race 8 be prepared for an improved effort from the Sydneysider BRYANNBO'S GIFT 10X10 another one one with plenty of duck eggs that has had excuses and has been thereabouts in stonger company. In Race 7 at Rosehill I like PURRPURRLENA 20x20, was close up at it's 1st run from a spell and will benefit greatly from the outing, will go very close. Back to the last at Sandown and I like DANE JULIA 10x10. another one who has been thereabouts without winning, well drawn and I expect it to go close. Race 6 at Ascot will close proceedings for me today and ELLIOTTO 10x10 at his 4th run back will be at his peak although this is possibly at the limit of his distance range.

Much better result last week with 2 winners, Dane Julia 10x 10.70/3.60=143.00 and Elliotto 10x4.50/1.80=63.00, a return of 206.00 and a profit of 86.00 leaving an o/all loss of 36.00 and therefore a bank of 1164.00.

Today is an unusual punting day for me as I am staying away from Melb/Syd.
The 1st bet comes up in the 5th at Eagle Farm and HIKE 10x10 is my choice. Been in Qld for awhile now and this is its 3rd run back this prep. Although finishing 0/9 has not been far away in each run. FORBES 20x20 in Race 8 at the Gold Coast is my bet of the day, should have won last start instead of running 2nd at the GC. The Railway Race 6 Ascot will see LARGO LAD 10x10 carry the money, a great 1st up run at Flemington 3 weeks ago will see him strip fitter and is well suited here. In Race 7 I like NEW SPICE 10x10, 4th run back and the 2,200 shoud suit and will run well. In the last at Ascot I like the former Queenslander MAJORCA 10x10, well drawn and should get a nice run, can put in a finish on his day.

Hike? Not the strongest race but I didn't think it was that weak.

After last Saturdays effort I was all set to cart myself off to the spelling paddocks for a couple of weeks but I have decided to give myself another run.

Total disaster, 120.00 down the tube with a total loss of 156.00 and a bank of 1044.00.

Kicking off early with PURRPURRLENA 20x20 in the 1st at Kensington, this is the perfect race for her and will be at its peak. FORBES 10x10 in the 3rd at Eagle Farm could be value, a senior jockey this time may make the difference.
In the 2nd at Ascot I like WIZARDS POINT 10x10, needed the run 1st up and won 2nd up last prep and may do the trick again.PINATAS 10x10 in the last at Kensington is my bet, ran an even race 1st up and finished off well, The last bet of the day will be ORTENSIA 10x10 in the Winterbottom, up against a couple of smart 3yos but could finish too powerfully for them.

Had a let up with no contact with racing whatsoever for 10 days. Feeling refreshed and I fancy my chances this day.
Saturday 27/11 ended up square on the day Forbes 3rd 10x4.80, Pinatas 2nd 10x1.60 and Ortensia 1st 10x 3.80/1.80 and a return of 120.00 and a bank of 1044.00.

My 1st for the day will be PLAYWRIGHT 10x10 in the 5th at Flemington, missed the start and ran on very strongly from a fairway back last start, if it is ridden quietly may finish too well for them. Race 7 Flemington I like HOTEL CASINO 10x10, racing reasonably well and having his 1st start in Melbourne, not the norm for Begg to send horses down out of carnival time. Race 6 Brisbane i'm with DECEPTION BAY 10x10, from the draw should get a good run during the race and will be in the finish, form is sound. AL SAHRA 20x20 in the 7th at Rosehill could be the middle leg in a 2state and international treble for Begg and is my bet for the day, a great run at 2nd start behind the colts last start and drawn perfectly. The get out stakes in Flemington sees VITEX 10x10 could bowl along in front and take some catching, 3rd run back and had good form last prep.
