Yes, some mind boggling $ in HK, caused by an algorithm gone wrong. Moeee, Your handicapping every race the same, and presumably wagering in the same way, big mistake. As I bang on and on, look at the Fav, understand what major and minor factors the public have used to decide this Fav for todays race. Then see how your handicapping stands up against those types of Favs. in the past Then you will come out of your current "blind spot". |

![]() Moee, here is a simple race classification of Race 9, I only included simple stuff
the lower the rank the better Once you classify a race not on Grade/ Class, Distance age sex etc etc you move from Handicapping the animals to handicapping the wagering public. This is where our horse racing "back-fitting" friends on here are not seeing the trees from the forest. Homeberger Rankings Bx Accel Split Time Class Time Split Time Class 1 A8 S8 T7 C7 TS15 TC14 2 A4 S6 T5 C3 TS11 TC8 4 A6 S4 T6 C2 TS10 TC8 5 A1 S1 T1 C1 TS2 TC2 6 A2 S2 T2 C6 TS4 TC8 7 A3 S3 T4 C4 TS7 TC8 8 A7 S7 T3 C5 TS10 TC8 |

Forum curse strikes again!!! Okay Woof43. I can't do what you suggest because I don't understand what you are saying and never have, and never will. But what I will do is pay more attention to what I am doing in my handicapping, so that I don't end up doing what everyone else is doing. Because doing what everyone else is doing, and not doing it quite as well, is a guaranteed way of losing over 14% in the long run. |

Let's say in Don Chendo race, the public has made it top elect , not because of the post position, but because of Time, and Early speed. Your handicapping may decide it is 2nd elect. When the race has been run, they were right you were wrong, now you record this over and over for every race that matches that same situation you find your a loser on those types of matching races, now you know you have a "blind spot" in your handicapping for this subset. Either you avoid those races or wager differently and become a winner. |
