Finding it very hard to get a winner at the moment. Lots of placegetters. Anyway, those of you who have burnt midnight oil doing racing research will not be surprised by the current run. Early on things went extra well.
Worst thing you can do as a punter is begin to believe your own publicity.I was beginning to think I was infallible after the first 3 weeks. Reality, however, soon set in.
I'm certain that putting a price limit i.e. don't back anything showing less than $7 etc would improve on current stats.
While my earlier research was based on 2000 bettable races this represented over 5000 bets (i.e. taking 2-3 horses in such races).
Also this was Saturdays only and did not include WA or NZ . I think that the WA and NZ form should hold up but I have found that the country and provincial scene, for some reason, does not seem to hold up.
