I wish she would race every week. I'm holding unbelievable amounts every time she goes around, and at good %.

Well done Mark!

Just watched the replay a few times to actually soak up the magnificence of the mighty mare. It's basically ridiculous how good she is, no??!!

Moeee,

I did a test of your theory on a 5 horse maiden at Pakenham and somehow I didn't get that same spine tingling feeling.

Weird.

Well hey,

In the end you got a better price for the place on playing God than for backing BC! A little annoying though it may have been!

Pull any unlabelled race from the archives and turn the mute on and most races are rather boring.

I know about spine tingling , because I was there the day BoneCrusher beat Our Waverly Star.
Looking back , and I'm wondering whether it was Bill Collins Call that had a lot to do with the chill.

Anyway , if you get excited by races that the result is known a week before it is run , more power to you.

Like I said , I prefer watching a contest - But thats me.

WOW, not too often in our lifetimes do we get to see someting as outstanding as Black Caviar. Greg Norman at his peak (before he mutilated his swing) was the best and most powerful ball striker the world had ever seen, John Coleman from Essendon FC, Bradman, Lillee & Thomson, Thorpie ..... they all pulled crowds to watch something special.

I know nought about the mechanics of a racehorse, but BC fair dinkum 'walked' past them and put 4 lengths on them in the blink of an eye.

The hot dog eating championships went down to the wire this year! Very close. But when you triple crowd sizes to that of a normal Orr Stakes day of the past years you have a champion race horse preparing itself to take on the best of the world.

Give me that anyday of the week.
Race times are iirelevant when Nolan doesn't move on the horse.
With such an easy run she'll need more races in Oz before heading to England.
Would be nice to how much she would put on Rain Affair

Sad to see champions of the past lose it a little tho'. Although Hawkie skulling a pot at the cricket is way past his PB in skulling a 'yard' at Uni, it is nonetheless a reminder of his past greatness !!!!

Couldn't agree more, and in fact the horse has obviously improved out of sight since last preparation.
She just keeps winning with more ease.

The problem is that Moody has been too good at his job, he has perfectly placed her at every start.
She has really never been tested except when she went clockwise.

Since then nothing has even had a go at her or tested her.
"They" are saying that Hay List is the second best sprinter in the world.
That's a pretty long bow to draw in my opinion.

When she beats the best at their peak, she is a world champion, not when she beats a Caulfield Cup winner over 1000m shorter than his best and a Melbourne Cup winner who's seen better days.

If she crushes Frankel, she will be the best in the world.

When Crome Prince, When - she would make Frankel look silly at this point in time.

I see moeee's point & almost tend to agree somewhat as I have seen alot more thrilling races than the Orr yesterday, but seeing her in the flesh gives you a different perspective & I walked away knowing I almost certainly will never see a better racehorse go around before I turn my toes up.
