Downs_____ Last sat AMEX, had a motza on it
protest called watched head on replay and started counting the money.

Highs_____ Mid to late 80s? backed a horse named JUDGES RULE in a distance race in melb. Had a $1000 at 15/1.
When I put the bet on the bookie said "thanks a lot".I thought smart ********.
They jumped and it went 15 lengths ahead. I nearly tore my ticket up then. Finished up winning by about 5 lengths.
When I picked up $16000 I said to the bookie "thank YOU very much".
THAT was a real buzz.

Cheers

Umrum,
First backed him months ago in brisbane at 10/1,missed the start by lengths kept to the rails and won going away. Have followed him ever since and am well in front.
I couldnt get 20/1 but got 30/1 and 4/1 place so he still made me money.

Cheers

Ah yes my sob story here we go i have a couple. Well the first one was on Derby day last year I had an all Upper for $10. Well the first leg was Choisir to win the race which he did only to lose it on protest later on. Did he cause interference yes would the other horses have beaten him I doubt it. My 2nd leg was Hydrometer for a place and he was nosed out by Helenus on the line to pay a couple of dollars for a place. Then I had Bubitano for a win and sure enough that he did paying about $7 and in the final leg I had Delago Brom for a win and yes he did that to can't remember what it paid by that time i was furious after missing out on the biggest pay out of my life at that time.

Next sob story isn't to bad I guess i got a collect on it through a triffecta. Well here we go I had both Bush Padre and Freemason on the top line with those 2 and Grey Song, Maguire, Bedouin and Lazzaz. Ok we got the triffecta for a half which was about $750 here. but the First 4 paid about $50000 off the top of my head. The order of finish was Bush Padre, Freemason, Maguire, Bedouin and Grey Song.
