Their current site IS frustrating, however. The occasional problems with their pages not refreshing properly is ridiculous -- surely the main aim of any bookmaker is to display their actual odds to the punters!

I have been using IAS for quite a few months now... I've NEVER seen the "odds changed" message appear when the odds have drifted... Same with their DiviPlus and BetaDiv prices... they never appear to close lower than what they actually pay... they always pay shorter. Seems that the pages refresh well when the odds go out, but not so well when the odds come in....

I do concede, however, that I don't watch every race every day... just a good proportion of them.

Cheers,
Chris.

The screen on the new version (if they keep it the same as in the trial) has a few differences compared to the current one. For one thing, only the prices refresh rather than the whole screen. Perhaps that will help, but if the current "refresh" problem continues with the new version, then I'll move my money to SportsBet or something similar.

I don't know how long before they release the new IAS site for general use, but the fact that you can bet on exotics is a plus.

The new look at IAS assuming the trial
page will become the new format is much better than the current one in my oppinion.

However their seemingly "mug punter" attitude
is a relfected in a continuation of a poor up to date refresh of the odds.
At times still so far behind practically useless.

Hopefully all the feedback will encourage them to improve their service or risk falling into terminal decline.

Cheers

The problem in regards to users having to log on over and over again is caused mainly by "firewalls" and in some cases Norton products. Before log in, disable your firewall or any Norton products. If you're using Windows XP, disable the build in firewall. Also check your browser settings and make sure that it refreshes "everytime" you visit a site.

I was having the same sort of problems and after rectifying the above, all is fine. I use a dial-up connection and to be honest there isn't a great deal of difference from broadband when it comes to "data refresh".

Hope that this will help some.

Interesting to read about the problems logging into the I.A.S. site.
I recently posted on the racing forum about a problem with Ozeform form search.
Each time I logged in and selected the form search page, I was directed back to the log in page.
I refreshed in every way possible, uninstalled Zone Alarm, changed settings, all to no avail.
Contacted ozeform support and they could offer no solution.
Referred this problem to my ISP who emphatically denied the problem was due to any of their equipment.
"borrowed" my daughter's ISP connection and had no problems whatsoever.(my same computer and settings including a firewall)
Referred this back to my ISP which eventually admitted to a problem and gave me a new 0198 dial in number.
I have had no problems ever since.
I am not particularly computer savvy but I believe that this problem does not necessarily rest with the ISP., just that a different number directed me through a different set of equipment which was not affected by whatever problem Ozeform has with refreshing.
Hope that didn't sound like gobbledegook.
Regards
Imagele
