Bomber Bill is i triple G1 winner. Carael Boy is not, This Manshood is not and Century Kid is not. In fact none of them have won a single G1 between despite being great warhorses.

this indicates that sydney success rates is quite high with lonhro, private steer, dance hero with high scores.
exceed and excel and regimental gal adding to the high numbers for sydney.


this is all very well but it amplifies my point that the big guns are out when the chips are down and awol with the good horses when the rest of the year is on.
with good carnivals in vic/nsw/brisbane/adelaide the good horses follow the money and fields tend to be very ordinary during non-carnival time.
it indicates to me that the dominance of big stables is having an affect and that the long term detrimental effect will be for a lower public interest in the sport.
this is showing in sydney.
probably no future in persuing this discussion as we get out of it what interest us as individuals.
