Nothin' Like fame @ $27.50 NSWTab made it all worthwhile today --- but, oh, was it lonely!!!! Thanks, Go Long.

Thanks Merriguy, As I said in my first post it will be sometimes rather frustrating seeing them just pipped or having to wait all day for the winner at odds. Ofcourse you could have pulled the plug at 3pm and been approx $1000 better off for the day.
But that's to-day, do that on another day and you could regret it big-time.
All the best

Longy,

Who said this time of year is boring ? I'm sure many here will be watching this one.

So many bets !!!

How do you manage a decent handicapping effort [especially on 26/1 shots], there just ain't that many hours in the day ?

Or is this a system [wow] ?

I'd hate to be waiting on long shots to save me at this amount of $100 a pop action.

Did you sell your house or something ?

Mad cow disease ?

Cheers and good luck

Hey, Go Long, you are doing yourself an injustice in your reporting. Dubbo Race 7, 11 and 13 were both scratched; and, according to my notes, Echuca Race5, 5; Port Macq. Race7, 1 and 5; Dubbo Race6 6; and Race7 3 were all unders. This makes the outlay $1300 rather than $2000, and the POT 111.5%. Or did you get out when $1000 up

P.S. I only used $10 bets but was mighty pleased with the day. Thanks again.

Hi Crash,
The actual determination of where the selections are derived from is quite complicated. The daily selection process is quite simple although the criterea for selection did originally take quite some months to perfect. However bear in mind that I did say that the investigation process was done over a rather short period of 4 months. I use many past form aspects to come to a decision and the rest is up to horse and jockey on the day. As you have seen their can be many selections but only one or a couple of results. What we are looking for is that 26/1 chance on more than one occassion to keep our head above water and ofcourse to build our bank. That is not to say that you have to bet all selections, if you have your own handicapping programme you may delete as many as half and still be profitable.
If it is for you your more than welcome to follow in the months ahead. Good luck

Hi Merriguy,
Your right I did make a couple of errors in reporting,Dubbo race 7 No 11/13were scratched, Echuca race 5 No 5 was at unders
But the others I left in as according to Unitab results they were over at jump time,.
I guess it depends where you place your bets sometimes .As not all avenues will redcord identical prices as you probably well know when chasing overs.
My actual result was slightly better than posted.(+$500)due to the anomalies (some) that you posted. However I am still happy with the result. Glad you were able to take advantage. Be aware that I did state that the period of investigation was short and this process of selection is not perfected
and ofcourse does not come with any guarantees. If you have the ability to handicap or rate in your own way you may be able to reduce the number of selections and still be profitable.Due to my other commitments I do not have the time nor resources to be more selective at present.
Good luck and kick many profitable punting goals
