Amazed by those odds on TAB Sportsbet. Usually they have Qld shorter than the NSW Tab. I'm sure all those faithful Qld punters will force those odds in tomorrow.

If you're right sportznut, now's the time for Qld supporters to get onboard.

I hardly ever back Qld (don't want to jinx them). Especially not when they're playing in Sydney. I guess they've got to break their Telstra Stadium hoodoo some time and now is as good a time as any.
If they go out and use the same style of play that they used in the 2nd half of game 2 then they have a chance. Unfortunately, when Hagan was interviewed after the game, he seemed very happy with the way they were playing in the first half and I get the feeling he'll be telling them to go out and play the same way. If they do, they'll probably get beaten. [ This Message was edited by: sportznut on 2004-07-08 07:25 ] |

Oh no, couldn't go through that damn Golden point again. Queensland teams don't have a clue how to play that.
No Paddy, I think NSW will win, but I'm a bit more confident of a Qld upset before this game than I was before Game 1. As far as the punting side goes, I still have a bet riding on NSW winning the series, so I'll probably just leave it at that and hope against hope that I lose my bet. |
