Haha well it will be the next big thing without me and dont get me wrong Im for anything that promotes cricket but I Just dont get off on it maybe Im just an old fart but i can live with that ,,,,,,,I look at it from this perspective (Time Machine) again .... When I seen players ie Greg Chappell (one of the most technically correct batsmen ive seen )stepping 3 feet outside his leg stump continually to give himself room to slash at the ball it turned me off the game a bit ......But thats change for ya Guess Ill just have live in my cave and carry on regardless

Well, I'm with you. You just can't beat a good Test Match as far as I'm concerned and great performances in Test Cricket are still the best judge of great Cricketers.
But this thing has really taken off in England. The ACB has sort of shunned the idea, but they will be playing a game at the Adelaide Oval in 2005 and we'll even be playing a game of 20/20 Cricket against England on next year's Ashes tour. |

Test Match Cricket has benifitted from the one day game because it has made people aware of the players and the game itself young people women etc and there are a certain percentage of these people who will watch the tests because they are now aware ......I will watch one day games I dont hate it but I wont rush home to watch it but It will be interested enough to have a look at this 20/20 game ...and while I got you here .....One bet last night Werder B

No Ive heard nought
But it matters nought Cos we got the Silverware. Just a point of Debate I frankly have never really favoured the Idea of our sporting teams travelling to Places like India and Pakistan more to the point I dont think any player should need an excuse or be ostricised for refusing to travel to the subcontinent (although I imagine things have improved a lot in recent years ,,hotels hygene etc)or to places where racial and or political tension is out of control. |

Well, it's interesting that MacGill wasn't picked for this tour after he made that decision not to go to Zimbabwe earlier. Wonder if that had anything to do with it???
