Default Hawks,

All you Hawk fans are kidding.

Your bunch of coach killers and depressed players need more than Clarkson, Wont get any where with soft players like Croad and Dixon up forward and Crawford has outside interest and doesn't like some management too much after coping blame last year.

6 would be a miracle

Jaffa

Thumbs up

I think Clarkson is the key to improved performances. Schwabby let them run there own show and was too soft on them whereas Clarksons a hard nut plus he is an outsider with no real good mates among the group so he can give them the roasting they deserve without worrying about hurting their feelings. Mightn't make the top 4 but will be more competitive more often.

I thought this thread was about 'who YOU support' jaffa, not get up on ya soap box and dribble EDITED about other teams... we won't be a huge force in 05 but i believe we can still have a good crack, look what melb have done and im sure ppl like you wrote them off preseason

Default What have Melb done

Betsy,

Do you always get your back up when someone points out the truth about Hawks. Get Don Scott out of your club and things might be better.Mighty fighting hawks is sure true at the moment --but off the field.

As for you quote --look at what Melb have done--What exactly have they done since 19?? Melb are 1 man forward line and he is on way out.

I am a 25 yr Collingwood follower and member but I live life with my eyes open.

I want the pies to have a good year but until we buy a ruckman ( and plenty have moved over the last few years ) we still won't win another flag for a while yet.

You must be a hard man to impress, turning things around after finishing 3rd last in 2003, the dees finished 1 game outside the four, sitting at 5th

No wonder you're having a go at hawks because you standards are too high and it'll only take hawks coming from second last into the top four to impress you, well i can tell you now that probably won't happen and as for 'depressed players' who are you referring to as depresssed? Nathan Thompson who's now at Kangaroos? Or just the team in general? Because in a previous post mug_punta said that its been the best vibe at the club for years.

As for shane crawfords outside commitments, what does he have to do? sit in solitary confinement only coming out when theres training or a game? You'll find many players have outside interests which they devote some time to, its just that crawford interest lies in television

I'm purple to the bone.

High hopes every year. They're exciting, they're frustrating. They'll make you laugh, they'll make you cry. Never a dull moment. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Cheers,

H.

Not having a go at Melbourne, but it was an even number year last year, and you know what that means. Not saying they can't do well this year, but they certainly won't have any of my money riding on them.
