Checked out the last three yearsish up to the end of 2004 and late mail on horses $10 and over returned 1419 units from 1706 bets (83.15%) on the win and 75.70% if you put them on for the place. That must be why they make a living giving tips and not off the punt :-)

Hmmm, yeah. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

However, I still think they are worth thinking about occasionally in big races like Stratum in the Golden Slipper etc.

Yeah, that was just a blanket report on all the races, big and small.
