Having said that I do NOT consider a 100 pointer any better than any other top rater... or worse for that matter, but they are more likely to be pretty short.. I hope that makes sense.. I think the ratings work well for multiple players, also concentrating on horses paying say more than 4 or 5 bucks can be profitable.. I do not reccomend betting the top rater only, even tho they do tend to show a small profit on most days... some days they fall in a heap and the 2nd 3rd or 4th horses keep winning at big odds.. but that is the name of the game I guess..
