Question Nice Results & Question

Maverick,

Well done, nice results.

What is your formula for your tri's ? Do you take your best from the race and field/field or only a couple for second and field for third.... just wondering ?

I like the flexi-betting in NSW for exotics.... keeps ur bank "somewhat" protected....

Anyone know when Super TAB introducing "flexi" betting....

Yours in punting

stix

Hi Stix.

No real system any more for me Stix..i usualy just bank with the field / field.

but it depends on how short my runner is and also if i have other runners..

if i have 3 selections ..its usually a 3/7/7 which costs $90 ect..with that i'd also have my most favoured runner as banker and the other 2 selections 2nd and 3rd for $5..which would cost $10..

I dont have a specific formular with the tris...i have my serious bets already planned so the tris 1st4's and trebles keep my busy during the day..
i always take my ratings...so i'm not just picking anything ..

I have a great record with the tris , trebles and 1st4's....i always hear negative opinions about them ...but i can see no reason for them..
i once was the only unitab punter to jag a 1st4 up in townsville oneday..
also was only 1 of 3 people to jag a tri just recently....i think they're great fun.....u can sometimes have a run of outs but i think i have a lucky habit of jagging nice priced winners which usually means nice priced Trifectas..

Good luck

I am just about to start really going that way Mav try and pick one race each week where I think there is value and have a trifecta, 1st 4, Quinella and Excata on that race. My trifecta bets usually go 3/6/6 for a half unit then either 3/4/6/7 or 3/5/6/7 on my 1st 4 for a 1/4 unit I have had so often lately where I could have so easily of gotten big 1st 4s and trifectas if only I had put them on so I figure if I attack one race for the weekend I might be bale to pull off some decent results. Never really gotten into trebles all that much have the odd one every now and then but only if I see some value flaoting around in it.

I'm the same with trebles Raw. ..i only bet in them if i have atleast one runner in one of the legs....there can be real value sometimes..
Perth on Saturday i would of had the treble 20 times if Miss Copycat got up..
would of paid atleast $120..

I would concentrate on the races where you feel most confident with the tris..the Ipswich cup would of been huge ,, but it was hard to be to confident about that race...,,those results would be hard to repeat..where as with Au chocolates race you were confident ..and you had the roughie kind spirit aswell..
i dont usually have a trifecta in races with 7 runners or less ....unless my selection is an outsider ..
If i'm real confident in a race i'll have my runner with field 2 or 3 times..especially if the runner is good value and my other high rating runners are value aswell..
Havent yet got into any2's ..but have been playing around with them .. sometimes if i have 2 high rating runners in a race i'll have a go at an exacta with some good results..
