Testa,

Steady ! I didn't call you anything.

I was commenting on what was actually in [or wasn't in ] your first post, not your unknown 'intentions' [ that you have belatedly now posted ]. We ain't mind readers here.

I made fair comment considering your posts content, not an accusation. Why would anyone bother ?

Before you go suggesting I called someone an 'idiot' or called you an 'egomaniac', perhaps you should read the forum rules on slander because your indulging in it.

If anything I called Sportz 'altruistic' [ a compliment ] and certainly not an 'idiot'. He also agreed with the point I was making if you would care to look.

Cheers.

Selections – 43.
Winners – 7.
Placings – 14.
Return - $136.00.
Profit - $93.00.
P.O.T – 215%.

O/L $86 [assuming e/w on all bets ]

Wouldn't profit only be $50 not $93 ?
Only the cost of the win bets have been deducted from return.

Cheers.

Have to agree there Shaun.

I guess I was too tired from all the searching for the common links that these horses have, to add everything up.

My assumption was, as there is no O/L total, but the place prices and place totals are displayed along with the win totals, it should mean something [ e/w betting ? ].

I should not assume there is a logical reason behind anything in this forum anymore.

I did try, rather feebly, to cover myself with a question mark [ at the last moment ].

So far, I have come up with these system rules:
1. Win bet only
2. Must be a maiden
3. 1st. or 2nd. up only
4. Any day of the week
5. stating price up to $38 [maybe more]
6. any barrier
7. any jockey
8. any trainer
9. If more than one selection, go with your best guess or throw a dart [?]

There may be more, but I am at a loss and still tired [ and I just got up ].

Cheers.

There are actually 7 rules, but you already have 3:

(1) Must be a Maiden.
(2) Must be 1st or 2nd up.
(3) Must be $8.00 or more.

Clues:

(1) Check amount of starts for each selection.

(2) The thing they all have in common happened at their first lifetime start.

Hope that helps.

Cheers.
