Interesting to note that the win and place bets both made a profit, but the quinellas were disappointing. In those races where you picked two horses for a quinella, you would have done quite well if you had simply backed both horses to win. Perhaps you could look at that.

Thumbs up

You did very well today Chuck.

I had a good day following Darren Beadman in Sydney as well. I love backing Beadman in the last race and he didn't let me down with Baghdad.

thanks sportz

But certainly some credit for the success should go to you, because if you hadn't said anything to me then i would still be mucking around with quinellas etc.

thanks
Chuck

Smile Great Work!

Excellent picking, Chuck. I do make quinellas work for me, and great wheel
horses help me a lot.

Beadman could win on a rocking horse when he has an "on" day, which is most of the time. I read a bio on him awhile back. Very interesting fellow, very colorful background. So now his wife is his agent! How scary for one's wife to know all of a man's financial affairs. Sends a chill down my spine.

Sportz had good picks also. I appreciate you, gentlemen.

Glenn

Glenn,

I'm sorry, but I made a mistake yesterday with Rosehill and left off three other races that I liked. Sorry about that. I tipped Wombalano Belle and Reconnoitre on top so I had a good day there. Moonee Valley was hard with a few tricky results, but it was good to see Dandy Kid win his 13th race at the track. Great old horse. I see that the Powerstats on australianracing.com had a good day.

Default Sportz:

Yes, the powerstats did pretty well. Hard to believe a gent in Louisville, Kentucky makes those numbers. Today I had Ballarat and Echuca, but the latter has been abandoned. I hope you and Chuck have a few at Ballarat today. Thanks

Glenn
