Hareb Biscay ran a good race today at Ballina, but was boxed in at the line which stopped him from winning, well thats my thoughts. So should be one for a next starter at nice odds.

Hey XPT,

Its a company based in Sydney. They contract work out to people as Video Watchers and Pace & Bias analysts, they supply the training etc.

Not sure if they are looking for anyone at present or not, but no harm in asking.

Geelong
*Mr Celebrity,,horse is in real good form..seemed to be only warming up the last 50m in the Epsom..the distance jump is a concern and Gai has a habit of throwing her horses in anything going but i ilke the way this horse hits the line...i cant find anything else to beat him..Men at work the main danger..
place chances to C&C with no weight the Don and Sarrera ..
would want around 4's or close to it..

*Caulfield Jim...jumped off this horse last start after every man and his dog tipped him into fav...the Gauch got out way to late after maybe looking for that dream inside run he seems to love,,,the horse flew home for 2nd..it was only a class6 but this isnt a strong open...the top2 have the runs on the board and are the only worries..

Brissie
*Pager,,this horse is flying at the moment ..beaten by a promising horse last time ..this is easier Ric rides him well and he's well in with the claim..
*Prend....i like this horse..close up to Funlove in a recent barrier trial,,only a length off Cool Scene at the end her last prep...never won first up but has had the 2 trials..good barrier good trainer and Ric again rides this,,,,should get a good price here as theres a few promsing types in this race,,
*Geddes Gold....loved his win at the Coast..looks a promsing stayer..very nice type..ordinary race this with horses that usual take turns in winning ..in these types of races i like following the up and comer....bowditch didnt have any luck last time..will be doing his best to make up for it ..
*Moonbi Nymph...i was very confident last start with Moonbi and i thought Stathi pulled the trigger a bit early and was pipped on the line by a form horse called Wokandi....up in class here but its worth noting that this horse tested Star of Canada and beat Bunsen Honey Dew in a class 6 earlier this year.races well here at ef....i'm hoping stathi rides her quieter and with Fond Kiss, Add it up and Nice Surprise in the race i should get very healthy odds..
*Hulk Hogan...this monster of a horse did very well first up..omnitrader is always tough to run down..the Hulk will improve a stack from it...this horse has many tipping it to be a star..i'm thinking along the same lines..Scenic wells from the inside will be the one i'll be watching for coming late..

Sydney..
Might play with an allup here and some trifectas,,
Sprung, ganamac, Malcom and Starbeel..

and not forgeting my good mate Merlot Now in the cup...this horse has been below par of late,,got me thinking that Mr Hewitt changed a few things in his prep wanting him to get over more ground...as Merlot now has seemed to of lost that zip he usually has at the ened of the race...Merlot was nominated for the CC and this might of meant they have put alot of work into him so he should be fit.. i'll trust the trainer here and i'm guessing this horse would be ready for this almost targeting this as plan b..,,,should get the cosy run which will help..wish Bowditch was ridding him but lever isnt all that bad..

sorry for the novel guys..any comments welcome..

Good Luck

Lol well i only really popped in to see what mavs views were on merlot now for the cup. No need to ask. I thought myself he was going a bit below his best and was wondering if mav could explain. Cheers mate.

I have backed men at work for the GC, but i thought on a jeune was a rough chance. I wouldn;t be leaving him out of multis.

Mav would pick Merlot Now in the Cox Plate on Saturday!

His current form suggests he can't win, but I remember his form last preparation and I'm not totally dismissing him. The Murray Bridge Cup looks very tricky to work out.
