Yeah. Funny thing is I would definitely have had Wild Classic in the trifecta tips on a wetter track. Oh well, never mind. I'm nicely in front today.

A few races I'm considering today:

SEYMOUR
Race 5 - 7 SWEPT PAST, 2 Just Like Tooloora, 1 El Gitano (7,2,1 - 5,6 - 3,10)
Race 8 - 2 BREEZY, 9 Scarcity, 12 Stitching (2,9,12 - 5,1 - 3,7)

CANTERBURY
Race 7 - 1 THE JONKER, 7 Marquise Star, 5 Hint Of Success (1,7,5 - 4,3 - 8,9)

WAGGA
Race 5 - 4 GREY DECEIVER, 3 Boendso, 7 Portland Gem (4,3,7 - 1,2,5)

As per usual, you should consider Darren Beadman in these Sydney midweek meetings. He has a few good ones at Canterbury today. Race 1 there is tough. I actually like 4 horses in the 6 horse field. (4,5,1,6) I'll wait to have a look at the odds there. Some others that I think you could look at are R2-2, R5-6, R6-2.

Oh, another one I forgot to mention was SEYMOUR R6-2 TARA'S HALLS. Has a good record 2nd up and at the track and I'm expecting it to go well. It may not be great value though.

By the way, Canterbury R2-3 Cash Carter has opened up incredibly short on the TABs today, so there must be a good tip around for it today. It HAS won 2 of 3 first up, so who knows.

Sportz, I think you'll find that all those with the Whisper tipping method/subscription have been tipped into it and have put there cash on early !

Hey Sportz, how do you usually work around your selections.
Something like for Race 5

TRIFECTA
7,2,1/7,2,1,5,6/7,2,1,5,6,3,10

Cheers in advance,
TS

Yes Stix, that was another thing that passed my mind.

I remember a few years ago there was a PPM system that was actually doing okay for a while. I'd worked out most of the rules myself, but not all. It didn't matter. I just had to look at the opening TAB figures every Saturday morning and you could spot them. Horses which would normally be $10 or something would open up $1.50.

Haven't given up yet..had an awkward barrier last run and was ridden forward ,,,i was hoping bowditch would ride her off the pace and ride her cold..no doubt he would of seen her previous run where she did well leading and decided she had to lead..this is the problem when you chop and change jocks...i think her best runs have been from behind and hope they wake up to themselves..
I'll give her another chance as shes had excuses..but be carefull as i'm very forgiving .as most on here would know...(merlot now )

Have the two today..Stitching and Sister Katherine..
been going very well of late during the week,,very consistent...i'm more than happy with the new method...miss jagging those roughies i used to get though.

Hi TS,

There are different ways I back the multis depending on my degree of confidence for the race. If it's a big meeting and a race where I'm really confident, I'd be prepared to spend up to $60 on a trifecta, but at a meeting like today, I usually like to spend no more than $30. That's what that 3/5/7 option in your example costs. It's also $30 for 3/6/6 or 2/7/7 or a 5 horse box or a roving banker with 5 others.

I simply post a suggested order on here though, because I don't really like to tell people how they should bet. If anyone wants to follow the tips, it's up to them how they do it. And besides, I don't actually make up my mind completely about how I'm betting until just before the race. It's a bit late to post my exact trifecta tips then. And sometimes I don't even end up taking a trifecta, but simply take an any2 or quinella instead.
