Well, they did look like the most obvious ones.

In the Courier Mail up here each Friday, the sports tipsters pick out a few bets on the AFL, NRL and Rugby to raise money for charity. One of the AFL bets this week was simply a multi bet on all 8 favourites. 5 down, 3 to go. Their other bet was Swans under 39.5.

looks like chuck's home teams 1-20 could go 8/8 if the eagles get up

Question

Yeah, that huge home ground advantage has helped the Tigers. Collingwood obviously couldn't cope with the travel.

Red face

hmmm i'm guessing the tigers weren't at home and i've just made a fool of myself? :-p

in my defence i pulled that from here http://results.foxsports.news.com.a...tion=aflresults where i thought the home team came first?

edit: wait i thought the tigers did play at the MCG because i remember watching them beat carlton there when they were supposed to be at home...and the kangaroos i think...or am i just an idiot?

No, I was just kidding around, Chuck. It WAS Richmond's "home" game. It's just that it was hardly an away game for Collingwood, because they play there regularly. Not like they had to travel interstate or anything.

In any case, the West Coast let you down, so in the end nobody got the perfect round.

Here's an interesting one Chuck. Melbourne is the official "home" team but they're playing it in Brisbane. Who do you want?
