No, he's right. Sorry if I haven't explained it clearly. You can bet the whole $250 on exotics if you wish. You just can't spend more than $50 on one exotic bet.

In other words, if you wanted too, you could have a quinella, a trifecta, a first 4, a double and a treble all costing $50.
